Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for you if you are...
High-achieving perfectionists, overworkers, and overthinkers — you’re constantly pushing yourself to the limit, but it’s taking a toll on your mental and physical health.
Self-reliant individuals that struggle to trust others — you find it hard to let go and rely on others, leading to isolation and emotional strain.
People who notice growing irritability and reactivity toward loved ones and colleagues — your stress levels are affecting your relationships, causing you to act in ways you later regret.
Folks who power through pain, tension, insomnia, gut issues, and other physical problems that don't seem to have a medical cause — despite your best efforts, your body is signaling that something deeper needs attention.
You will return from Bali having experienced
Greater awareness of your beliefs and thinking patterns, and insight into where they come from and how they influence your life.
A deeper understanding of your body’s signals, including how stress manifests and is stored within your body.
A renewed connection to your true self, with clarity on your values and life purpose.
A release of deeply held stress and tension—mental, emotional, and physical.
Practical tools and techniques to manage stress and improve your wellbeing, equipping you to maintain balance and resilience long after the retreat.
You can expect to experience and engage in trauma-informed therapy & coaching (both in group and one-on-one settings), nervous system mapping, inner child work, somatic experiencing, breathwork & yoga, personalized spa treatments, and mindful, nourishing meals, all prepared, led, and facilitated by Amanda and the BeingSattvaa team.

Reviews
“My time with Amanda has been a life-changing experience. Though her program is short and contained, Amanda's ability to ask the important questions and her natural empathy and understanding provided the safe space I needed to get to the heart of what mattered to me. I’ve become more aware of triggers to my mood and overall wellbeing, and have developed an appreciation for how moments in my childhood have shaped me today. Because of this, I can be a lot more thoughtful in my decision making, and more apt to take care of myself first and foremost, something I subconsciously neglect to do at times. Anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind and empathetic therapist can't find a better choice than Amanda.”

“Amanda’s structure of therapy, where theory is applied to my experiences, has been educational and eye-opening. For someone who’s been naturally turning to self-help books for a long time, this is a comforting logic to build into my first experience with therapy. I feel a genuine sense of progress after every session. Amanda somehow manages to use very few words and gentle prompts to encourage me to flow from my heart and mind. In the end, it feels like I’ve managed to do a “structured self-reflection without feeling stressed talking about heavy things.”

What I loved about Amanda's process was her focus on self-discovery. She never told me what to think or do, but asked the right questions to helped me arrive at conclusions I had personal conviction over. Every session was action-oriented - we would always end with clear next steps on what I would do differently, and we'd begin the next session checking in on my progress. Definitely a highlight of an extremely chaotic and uncertain year, and I would recommend Amanda to anyone who's seeking change and clarity in their life.”

2. What are nervous system mapping, inner child work, and somatic experiencing?
These are trauma-informed approaches to therapy that help us understand how our bodies and histories influence our present challenges.
Nervous System Mapping: This process helps you recognize how your nervous system responds to perceived threats or feelings of safety. By identifying your unique patterns of activation and calm, you can develop tailored techniques to effectively regulate and manage stress responses.
Inner Child Work: Inner child work explores past experiences and unmet needs from childhood that—perhaps unknowingly—still affect you in the present. By acknowledging and nurturing these parts of yourself, you can heal old wounds and build healthier emotional patterns.
Somatic Experiencing: Somatic experiencing is a body-based approach to trauma recovery. It works by helping you release tension and stress held in the body, supporting a gradual process of restoring balance to the nervous system and promoting a sense of calm and resilience.
3. When should I plan to arrive and depart from Bali for the retreat?
